Cabotegravir for HIV PrEP in High-Risk Adults

More than 5000 new HIV infections occur each day worldwide, despite the availability of effective preventive strategies. Daily oral tenofovir disoproxil fumarate–emtricitabine is one option for preexposure prophylaxis, but long-acting regimens could help increase adherence and, therefore, efficacy. New research findings are summarized in a short video.
