Intensive BP Control in Older Patients

Current guidelines vary in their systolic blood-pressure target for older adults. Some advise a systolic BP target below 150 mm Hg, while others recommend more intensive treatment, aimed at a systolic BP below 130 mm Hg. The appropriate target, however, remains unclear. New research findings are summarized in a short video.
